About
Technical Excellence - Every time.
History
While still attending Virginia Tech in 1990, Bryan “Keith” Henshaw began work for Dominion Power in Richmond Virginia. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1993, Keith Henshaw went on to work at Carolina Power and Light from 1993 to 1997 before deciding to become a contractor. As a contractor, Keith worked at Florida Progress (1997-1999), American Electric Power (1999-2000), Carolina Power and Light (2000-2002), Dominion (2002-2005), and Florida Progress (2005-2013). In 2007, after being a contractor for 10 years, Keith partnered with good friend and fellow contractor John Holliday to form Nova Technical Services. The logic was that no one could serve the contractors better than those who had been long term contractors. Nova Technical Services provided technical staffing services to large utilities in the southeast such as Duke Power Company and large A/E firms such as Sargent and Lundy. Keith and John owned and operated Nova Technical Services from 2007-2018. In 2018, John Holliday retired and Nova Technical Services, Inc was dissolved by mutual agreement of the partners. Keith Henshaw had previously started The Henshaw Group in 2007 and The Henshaw Group had operated as a subcontractor to Nova Technical Services, Inc in providing technical consulting services. In 2020, The Henshaw Group entered into the primary role as a supplier of contingent workers to the power industry.
